Lion and the jewel play

The days for the performances were Thursday and Friday night from 7-10. The first performance was very intense and scary. I was very nervous and there was a big audience and lights and darkness and animals and food so it was very distracting. I found it difficult to concentrate until I was actually performing. The arrival time for Thursday for the performers was 5pm since we had to get costumes, make up, counseled and breathing exercises done to prepare for the performance. I had done this once before in yr 9 when we had a drama performance but it had been long since I actually was in this situation. The play began okay and the dancing was fine and I fortunately did not fall down or miss any steps though I didn't smile as much which was something we were lectured about on before Friday's performance. The performance went well and I had fun without knowing it.
